Now that I think about it, we should have deliberately had some kind of TDK reference in panel seven. (Because that would be soooo postmodern, man.) A giant glowing neon sign might have been much, but maybe it could have been smeared into the blood trail.

We should really have expected this from the beginning. Befriending Frederick was pretty much as good as signing your own death warrant. You either died fighting in one of his wars, or as a result of the chaos caused by those wars, or in one instance, from eating bad pate in no way related to any war, but still resulting in death all the same. No matter how you sliced it, your days were numbered.

Farewell, Sir Mumblemutton. Farewell...
