You might think it's easy to construct a historical dream team orchestra, but this one had me thinkin'. Violins, easy. Guest pianists, easy. Horns, sure, there's a couple of dudes who would have your back. But who's going to be Second Bassoon?

The inclusion of Meyer is a blatant instance of my Karajanophilia, and I make no apologies for it. She was the first female member of the BPO (in 1983!!) and Karajan had to fight tooth and nail to get her into the thing.
