There was part of me that wanted to draw Peter with JUST a bowtie and tuxedo pants a la Chippendale’s, but it struck me that he would probably have been pretty good at protecting his throat (as he was good at protecting the throat of Russia, if not necessarily ALL of it), so there probably would have been a fair amount of shirt front left around there… so, no wallpaper-ready Peter The Stripper images this time around…

Newton’s in a cage. Gilbert’s in a cage. Lincoln is down. Looks like it’s up to Peter, who is possibly dead from a dog attack brought on by a rogue flute, and Frederick, who is, as usual, none the worse for the wear, to ride to the rescue! The cavalry hits the ground in Episode 239: No Need For D’Oyly Carte!

Ah, logistics. The manipulation of space and time between the panels of a comic lets us get away with all sorts of things, but sometimes I just run into too many questions that need answering before I can get on with the Old One vs. Robot battle.
