Should one always listen to their magic hat?
All my magic hat ever tells me to do is to color more Frederick episodes. That seems pretty benign.

For this was on seynt Volantynys day
Whan euery bryd comyth there to chese his make.
There it is, the first written reference to Valentine’s Day that we have from our good friend Chaucer. Oh, English. You silly, silly language.
So, finally Frederick and Company know the full scope of what they have done by unleashing Napoleon on the continental United States. The question is, what are they going to do about it? I think the answer… will surprise you.

At the last moment, Napoleon has shown up with an army collected out of nowhere, but on which side will this new force fall? Will he secure the victory of Douglass, aid his former comrades, or do something entirely Napoleonic like fire California to the moon as a base against England? Thoremerson’s most devastating attack! A brief discussion of origins! A Napoleonic campaign concluded! An Episode 101: The Noble Alternative!!
– The Count and Geoff
I like how Frederick et al are only in this episode for one panel, and that they don’t even do that much in their panel.
Also, this here is a different historical comic about Thoreau and his views on the US Government and war.
