In less joyous news, as our Twitter followers already know, Julius, who has served for the past three years as the reigning Big Happy Fluffy Orange Friendly Cat of the house, passed away yesterday after a hard struggle with leukemia. He was a very fine cat. I don’t see that I’ll be getting another cat for some time – it’s just Too Hard when they go, as they must, so instead I figure I’ll take the money that would have gone to food and such and give it to either the cat department of the local shelter or a good cat-centric charity so that kitties are still being helped with it.
