hey count, I was thinking, why don’t you add some girls into the west team and stop making it an all-boys club?
It’s interesting – originally we pretty much only had Emily Dickinson because I just did not know how to draw women, at all (just look at Anne Boleyn in the second story arc), and wanted to wait on having them in the strip until I figured that out. Then, when I was finally getting marginally decent at drawing women I was doing the Women in Science comic every other week so it always feels like there are more women in Frederick than there probably are, because half of my time I’m spending researching and drawing them for that comic. But fear not, once the Heist wraps up I’ve got PLANS! – Count DvL
