Crankshaft I Dolby

Christina of Sweden, especially early in her reign, had a particularly lovable tendency to do things that were entirely against her interest in the name of “dissembling.” She thought she was scoring points against her political opponents, when in reality she was just giving away things she really wanted in exchange for nothing of any particular value. Still, though, she’s in the top five of my favorite monarchs, so I figured it was high time to be featuring her in this little noir side-story before Geoff’s arc gets underway.
On a side note, if you notice that the colors on this episode aren’t up to our usual standards, that’s totally my fault. I decided to see what it was like coloring an episode and have gained a whole new appreciation for what Geoff does on a twice-weekly basis. Onwards, to Christina!
