And I’ll have you know I agonized over “Grrraarrraaaaarrrr!” I mean, I COULD have gone with “Hummana-hummana-hurk!” but I knew I could do better. And I did.

The robed figure known only as Potter makes his move! A hero pushed too far! Honor Shamed! Today, the Scientific Revolution ends with that particular flair of mixed incompetence and rage that only Frederick’s crack squad of vagrants and megalomaniacs can muster! The fate of the world hangs on a delicious spaghetti topping… It’s Episode 60: Northern Calling Card! Feel it!
-The Count and Geoff
This episode became the most sound effect heavy episode I’ve done yet. With quick layouts owing to ACTION! DIALOGUE! like “Grarrrrrraaaaarrrrr!!!” I figured I wouldn’t be earning my wholly imaginary pay unless I plussed it up a bit.
I’m pretty happy with the results.

Somehow, modern instantiations of the moose call lack the grandeur that they once had.
If you haven’t picked yourself up a copy of The Last Fantastic Four Story by Mr. Stan Lee, it might be worth your while. I had my doubts at first, but then Dr. Doom gets the line, “How dare anyone try to destroy the human race — before I can conquer it?” and everything is set right again. Seriously, it’s the Silver Age sprung to life again for one last shimmering comic, with all the absurdity and the “Gosh Reed, I hope this doesn’t muss my hair” such a resurrection entails, but also with the sense of a cohesive universe thoughtfully stitched together that had been gone for a while. Good stuff.
And then there’s the return of Terror, Inc…
And now your Donnie Murphy Update:
Donnie Murphy was 0-for-4 on Wednesday with two strike outs. He also ground into a double play, his batting average now resting at .212. I don’t know what you did or said to that poor boy, but I hope you’re happy. Makes me sick is all…
