The Thoremerson is no more. The Union is saved. It has been decided that killing Frederick Douglass is not, after all, entirely necessary. It’s high time we say good-bye to our Civil War friends and embark on new and exciting adventures. Join us in our fond farewells in Episode 169: Union Adieus, and prepare yourself for the New Odyssey To Come in Episode 170 in just two short days!

Well, so long Civil War. It’s been a good very-nearly-a-year with Napoleon and Kate, Ulysses and Edgar Allen, Nathan Bedford and Flaveraham, Robert-Houdin and the Thoremerson, Riemann and Douglass and JEB and Joule and Disraeli…

In the meantime, this is my new favorite site in the world. Because, let’s face it, there’s no element that doesn’t gain by having its salient properties explained by men from Nottingham.

Is it a coincidence that we are wrapping up our big Civil War arc, with all of its talk of being a friend to the Union and such, on the day of what is quite possibly one of the biggest elections in recent US history? Entirely.
And yet, why are you reading this when you should be out voting?
